Simply Calvin and Hobbes originally opened in 1997 over at Geocities. It's been through a few incarnations and names and domains, and now it rests right here. I initially created it to learn website creation and because I rather enjoyed the strip. I've been negligent to keep it updated, but plan to give it another "college try." Hope you enjoy the site!

Sorry, you can't. Mr. Watterson is a deeply personal man and his syndicate does not forward mail to him. I'd like to envision him painting in his studio in the mornings over a bagel, while spending time with friends and family in the evenings.

I wish I could help everyone, but I simply don't have the time to find specific comics. I think there exists some searchable C & H databases out there that may help. Sorry.

I created this website because I really enjoy Calvin and Hobbes, thought the web was a good place to share this with other fans, and found many other sites all using the same content and comics.

What's with the Google Adsense, you money hungry fiend!?
Ah, yes. I knew I would get this. The decision to include Adsesnse was a tough one, but let me tell you, that it's simply to pay for some of the the hosting and registration fees (10 years of it adds up). I can promise you that the revenue is very minimal, but it helps a bit. If this isn't reasonable enough for you, Firefox has a great ad blocker :-) If enough people are offended though, seriously, I'll take it down...
